Here at the Parksville Beach Resort we
offer a wide variety of facilities and amenities for our guests. All
our guestrooms include a coffee maker and complimentary tea and coffee
each day. Most rooms feature spectacular views of Parksville Bay and
the coastal mountains beyond, and all are equipped with picnic tables
for outdoor dining. The Katherine Jo building features a coin-operated
laundry facility for guest use. Guests are free to use our two hard-surface tennis courts and the horseshoe pitches. Recreational equipment for these amenities is provided, and can be checked out from the front desk..
We are
located right next door to the Lions Club Venture Land Playground and
Water Park and are just down the street from a fabulous mini golf and
video game center so the kids will have plenty to do. There is fabulous
local shopping right at your doorstep and the Parksville Beach Resort is
only a twenty-minute drive away from major shopping malls and movie
theatres and just three to five miles from golf, fishing and many other
recreational activities.
Plan to spend some time here and explore the whole region. There's so
much to see and do each day. Visit the Coombs Country Market, where
goats live on the roof, or venture north into Lighthouse Country, and
beyond. Snap a photo of snow-clad Mount Arrowsmith while you follow
hiking trails to the spectacular waterfalls of Englishman River or
Little Qualicum Falls then explore the wonders among the original growth
forest of world famous Cathedral Grove.
Experience some of the most magnificent natural sights imaginable,
hear bald eagles cry from their perches high in the ancient Douglas Fir
trees, or link hands with four of your friends and ring one of the
massive cedar trees. Comb our miles of sandy beaches for marine
treasures while you watch for Killer whales heading up the strait on
their way to Robson's Bight, or enjoy a relaxing afternoon playing one
of the many local golf courses.
